Touring
· Usual touring skis/boots/skins (Skins in good condition and waterproofed)
· Ice axe (Ideally "T" rated, certainly no alloy heads)
· Crampons (Not alloy, Need steel ones for Finstraarhorn ridge)
· Shovel (Not plastic! they do not work on avalanche debris.)
· Probe (Not thin light weight one as found in BCA spade handles)
· Transceiver with new batteries in.
· Harscheisen
· Harness
· 2 x prussiks
· 3 x carabiner at least one to be a screw gate
· 1 x sling
· Head torch
· Lip cream
· Sun cream
· Sleeping bag liner
· Drink container

First aid kit to include items to treat:
· Cuts & grazes
· Blisters
· Diarrhoea
· Pain relief

Other kit
· Wash / hygiene
· Clothes
· Refreshments
