March 2010 update Money Remember we are operating a cash kitty. Keith will be bringing out all deposits in Swiss francs to start the kitty. Should last 2 days. Please ensure you have enough CHF. Travel arrangements Niall who is flying out and arriving by public transport, and Nigel & Paul who are driving out are due to arrive in Blatten Friday night and have an acclimatisation day on the Saturday. The rest will already be in the Alps and will rendezvous in Fiesch with their cars. i.e. Roger & Keith, Ali & Steve, & Phil will meet up at Fiesch Youth Hostel at 16:00. Where Steve/Ali's & Phil's cars will be left. We then will move round to Blatten and be there hopefully by 17:30. Remember to bring your reciprocal rights card for the huts and your
YHA card for the Fiesch hostel if you have them. If you do not have
a YHA card, there will be a small amount extra to pay, it probably is
a lot less than becoming a YHA member. |
