We hired a cottage in Carbost, in walking distance to the only pub. The pub food was OK but nothing to rave about.

We were only there until the Friday morning as we had a prior engagement in the Lakes. The weather was kind much better than the new crap BBC forecast indicated.

We climbed:

Sgurr Banachdich from Glen Bittle House coming down spur to An Diallaid.

Sgurr Gillean via Pinnacle ridge.

Our final day we climbed Sgurr Alasdair via the Sgumain stone shoot, not the easy scramble the guide book indicates since the rock fall of 1999. Returned down the great stone shoot, that was not as much fun as last time, scree too varied in size.
