Round of Pillar, Scoat Fell & Red Pike from Wasdale Head
Left Wasdale Head around 0915, up to Wistow Crag did the scramble up the crag, excellent grade 2/3 well deserved it's 3 stars. Up onto Pillar lunch out of wind at Wind Gap, then onto Scoat fell, Steeple & Red Pike Down from Dore Head Steep and tricky in places. Wasdale Inn for tea at 1615.
Distance 11Km Climbed 1120m Time 7hr.
Sunny excellent visiblity but very high wind.
