Travelling in the Alps by public transport I have recently added this page after I encountered great difficulty finding out information for travelling by bus in Northern Italy. Here are a few useful links. The Swiss and Austrian will normally work across either country provided you use the correct site for the country you are starting in. The Italian one does not have the English option working yet but as there is a link on the home page it looks as though it will at some point. It also does not seem to work if you start from the local bus service up the valley. It does work if you use major Villages / Town and do the end local bus as a separate journey.
